Courtesans

In anticipation of the release of Courtesans I thought I'd take some time to explain how to work around having both kinds of Character in the same game.

Of course a Courtesan is already a viable concept for a Tough Justice Character you may want to make use of the actual Courtesans rules. They are after all UTTERLY AWESOME!

Yeah you may want to adjust the power level slightly but apart from that, the differences are quite cosmetic really.

Here is how to use the rules from Courtesans in Tough Justice and vice a versa.

Courtesan Defendants
It's unlikely the corrupt world of Georgian society would let a Courtesan anywhere near a Dock but it could happen! If so the following should be taken into account.

Equivelency: Manners is the Courtesan equivelent of Composure, Spite the Courtesan Equivelent of Jibe and Performance can be used to decive a Jury.

Starting CP: The Defence may add the Courtesan's current Legend to their Case Points. The Prosecution may add her current Scandal.

Courtesan PCs
You can play a Courtesan PC but a lot of her skill set won't be of much use in the Tough Justice Case. To mitigate this a Courtesan may seduce and perform a sex act upon a target in a single action. Both rolls adding to CP.

Pregnancy Advanced rules are automatically in play when there are Courtesan PCs.

Combining Games
If you wish to combine the two games perhaps having a House of Courtesans intervene on the behalf of a Sister or Admirer a Tough Justice Case takes up 1 Turn of a Courtesans Season. Helping your Team to success nets a Courtesan a dice roll of Resources of her Choice. Failing nets her a Scandal point as her involvement is revealed.

In Doxy this sort of stuff will be covered in the book. In Courtesans it never occured to me until Grim suggested it :S
